What is your name?
Hannah Forrester
What do you look like?
I’m biracial and have light brown skin, brown curly hair, and large brown eyes. I’m tall and slender and people have told me I could have been a model, but I don’t know if I agree with that.
Where do you live?
I live in Boston, Massachusetts now. I grew up in Indianapolis, Indiana and moved to Boston when I got accepted to Harvard. I used to spend summers on Martha’s Vineyard with my parents when I was a kid.
What has been the most important event in your life?
Until recently I would have said the death of my parents. They died in a car accident three years ago. But now I’m thinking the first time I saw a really unusual woman on a Martha’s Vineyard webcam might end up being the answer.
What do you consider your greatest achievement?
I guess graduating from Harvard. Honestly I don’t think I’ve achieved all that much.
Have you ever been in love?
I thought I was, but I realize now I was just kidding myself. But I think I may be in love now.
Who is the person you respect the most? Despise the most?
I respected my parents. I was lucky to have them as they were wonderful people. I despise my ex-boyfriend Jon.
What goal do you most want to accomplish in your lifetime?
I want to be a writer.

What is the strange connection she has to this mysterious woman suspended in time?
Hannah finds out.
But, it’s not at all what she expects...
Hannah unravels a century old murder.
Author Bio:
Julie Flanders is a novelist and freelance writer in Cincinnati, Ohio.
She has a life-long love affair with the ocean and has spent more summer
vacations than she can count on the island of Martha’s Vineyard. When
not writing, Julie can be found playing with her pets, reading, cheering
on her favorite sports teams, and watching too much television. The
Ghosts of Aquinnah is Julie’s second novel. Her debut novel Polar Night
was released in February, 2013 by Ink Smith Publishing.

Re ghost stories? I see them. Have done since I was around 6 yrs old. Not all the time though. I don't walk around seeing dead people or anything. And I suppose you might put this foible down to sleep disorders or tricks of light or vivid imagination or a million other things. What do I know ? :) To me, I've seen around twenty, and had a few odd situations besides. All of them equally intriguing and alarming.

I'm a huge fan of horror/ghost movies (recently saw Insidious 2 - very scary!) but I'd say that my parent's haunted house is hands down the best story b/c it's true!
What a fun interview -- and I wish I had seen a ghost at some point in my life, but I haven't. But my sister saw a theater ghost once -- does that count? And I loved the movies Ghost and Sixth Sense, but The Conjuring scared the *@!! out of me.
Haven't seen The Conjuring; but loved Ghost and Sixth Sense. I've had a couple ghosts in my homes, mostly they were harmless. One, however, had a very angry feel, and we never felt safe with him around, although nothing more weird than icky feelings ever happened.

Slightly late running round commenting, due to a busy weekend, but I did pick up a ghost story of sorts in the library book sale on Friday: Louise Arnold's 'A Good Day for Haunting' (I loved her 'The Invisible Friend', although I haven't read the middle book 'The Ghost School' yet).
