I’VE ALWAYS LOVED TREES
So beautiful
as they sway in the breeze
like skeleton
hands
using the
language of the deaf
reminds me of
Jeff
the man hung
until his death
it wasn’t
quick
but mr slick
got what he
deserved
outmaneuvered
by women
his skin, now
thin like linen
those he
denigrated in life
he couldn’t
fight in death
on Halloween
night
at 12:01 AM
the souls he
stole
made quick
work of that fool.
