I hope you feel better soon! The flu can be really rough. Take care!
ReplyDeleteYou didn't have to crawl out of bed to write this Yolanda! You have a good excuse to miss a month! Please go back to bed and take care. I hope those boys of yours are showering you with love and cuppas and chicken soup! xx
ReplyDeleteHi Denise:
DeleteI feel to guilty ignoring everything, but it's probably best if I do - less errors that way. Still, the boys and hubby have abandoned me. Can't blame them, I'm a mess! :)
The flu does trump all. I lost a week of writing to it last week. Curse you, flu!!
ReplyDeleteThanks for the inspiration! Feel better soon!
With spring coming, crappy time to get the flu. Rest and get plenty of fluids and feel better soon.
ReplyDeleteBummer! Take care of yourself and hope you feel better.
ReplyDeleteUgg, hopefully the germs go away soon, glad you can't spread them through blogs too lol
ReplyDeleteRest up and feel better. And thanks for the awesome quotes! :)
ReplyDeleteI hope you feel better.
ReplyDeleteI won your book on Goodreads! How lucky am I?
Get better soon, Yolanda!!!!
ReplyDeleteI love that first quote.
Sorry you're sick! Feel better soon!
ReplyDeleteThanks everyone, I appreciate the well wishes. I need them! After two days of being unable to eat. I thought I'd reheat some chicken in the oven (it's electric). But the oven caught fire - the elements disintegrated and my oven was full of flames. Yes, I panicked. But the flames eventually died. At least I didn't open the door to give it air. Good for me, right? Anyway, it's a total loss as was the chicken. Doesn't matter anyway - I have absolutely no ability to taste anything. What is it with me and electrical appliances catching fire - remember the dryer? It too caught on fire inside the drum??? Okay, that's it. I'm going back to bed - see you next week!
ReplyDeleteI hope you get well soon. The quotations are very inspiring and especially the second one.
ReplyDeleteShalom,
Patricia
I'm sending healing cheese your way! You're going to beat this thing. Kick it in the teeth!
ReplyDeleteHi Yolanda,
ReplyDeleteSorry to read you've been feeling sick. And now, to make it even stranger, you've had a rather unfortunate cooking mishap. Thankfully, the situation didn't get worse.
Thus, on the positive side, I'm actually here leaving a comment. This will hopefully mean that you are now getting better, what with my amazingly awesome vibes.
Take care and take it real easy, Yolanda.
Gary
Hi Gary, your comments always make me smile and I'm sure I'll be flashing again soon! :)
DeleteGet through that flu. Remembered today is the first Wednesday of March. Good luck!
ReplyDeleteHope you feel better soon. Just finished drinking some warm tea with lemon and honey for my throat. It's getting that funny scratchy feeling I always get right before I get sick. And when I do, it's not pretty. So I'm hoping the tea works as a preemptive strike.
ReplyDeleteLove the quotes.
Oh no, you're the second blogger I've seen with the flu this week. Hope you are feeling much better soon. Take care!
ReplyDeleteYolanda! I am sending you Hot n' Sour soup to kick the flu away~ Get better and go to the beach-Dr. Ella's orders! I make Hot Lemonade-same as cold, just heat it. It helps~ Take Care
ReplyDeleteHope you feel better soon... the flu is never fun.
ReplyDeleteI don't know about the flu not being catchable through the internet. Michael must have given it to you, lol. Be well Yolanda.
ReplyDeleteHope you are feeling better now and rested up, but good.
