IWSG - SUNSHINE

I don't have an insecurity this week, well, no new insecurity. The usual doubts, fears, and questions with no answers are always there, just easier to ignore when projects, usually not writing related need attention. After all, it is spring, and that garden isn't going to weed itself. I'm blaming, I mean giving credit to the sunshine.

Keep your face always toward the sunshine - and shadows will fall behind you.

Wishing you nothing but sunshine!

but especially Alex J Cavanaugh the creator.

I've been doing a lot of gardening too! It's nice being in a house know where I can dig my hands into the dirt. It really helps to dispel insecurities. :)

Yolanda, I did a ton of yard work yesterday and have the scraped up arms to prove it.

When our mind is busy elsewhere, we don't have time to worry.

No new insecurities is a GOOD thing, Yolanda. I'm happy for you! I'm no so insecure as I'm uninspired. Not good.

The sunshine needs attention too

One man's weeds is another man's wild flowers. (I've got a LOT of wild flowers...)

Here's wishing you lots of sunshine, too, but with enough rain that you don't have to haul out the hose to water those, um, wild flowers. (I picked our first tomato of the year today!)

May you have (metaphorical) sunshine too.

Nothing like sunshine to lift our spirits, grow those weeds, and in Oz, give us melanomas, lol! Have a great week, Yolanda!

I wish I could follow old Walt Whitman's advice, but it's been overcast/raining for a week here. Enjoy your garden time.

We have a bit too much sunshine in Egypt. The temp varies from 95 to 110 in the day. ATM I'm hiding in my A/C and send hubby out if I need anything. At least I'm getting some writing done. (Or would be if I weren't visiting so many IWSG blogs! lol) Happy gardening to you!

I don't think I'm going to get much of a garden this year. Maybe next!

We're in a drought here, so they don't even want us watering the yard. I do anyway :) I was worried I would only have the same-old complaints today too. Thats getting boring, lol.

Yolanda Renée said...

I can't imagine too much sunshine, but I do know that high temps are killer and when they climb here, I too hide in the AC. Wishing you good writing!

Yolanda Renée said...

I agree, those doubts do haunt, but the sunshine makes them quieter!

There is always next year, and other gardens to enjoy this year.

So true Gary, they say getting your hands dirty is very beneficial for the soul!

Hugs to you too!

Sunshine? We've got it in L.A., but I do welcome the cloudy June gloom mornings that start the day off cool.
