Sorry, typo!

Anyway, hey Yolanda! It was so nice to meet you over at my blog.

I'm excited to have the chance to win your ebook! My favorite fairy tale is...The Pied Piper. That one traveled all over the world before it ended up in Europe and then America. Its message is so profound and resonates still today.

Congrats to Andrew! I just love that cover for Stitskin! As for favorite fairy tale, it's probably Cinderella.

What a fine prize. Great cover, Andrew. For favorite fairy tale, I'll go with Baba Yaga. What's not to like about a clever girl who inspires her father to shoot his wife? :-\

Hey Yolanda,

Wow, nice to note some more recognition of another one of my adoring fans. Yes, Andrew is one heck of a guy. I knew his was a fairy good at writing. What the elf, I say. Such excellent prizes on offer with your book included, Yolanda.

My favourite fairy tale is Goldilocks and the Three Canadian Bears. Who's been eating by pancakes and maple syrup, eh? The story has a grizzly ending. And Andrew, you should now know that a Yeti is a Sasquatch without a suntan!

I'm going now....

Gary :)

Thanks Stephen! Baba Yaga is a great choice! Wonderfully dark tale.

Awe shucks and golly gosh, Andrew. Your love is like that of hungry grizzly bear. The end....:)

Thanks Julie! :) The designer's name is Ricky Gunawan. He designed the cover for my first novel, now Stiltskin, AND he created a beautiful map of the world of Thiside for Stiltskin. The guy is amazing.

abuckley23 said...

Thanks Jess, I hope you like them! There will be more coming in 2014 and there are also preliminary plans for Fairy Tales Out Loud - Unplugged :)

The Cheshire Cat is one of my fave fairy tale creatures :)

abuckley23 said...

That was beautiful man! Just beautiful!

Hi Milo, thanks for hosting this! It's an awesome idea!

abuckley23 said...

Thanks Cherie! Cinderella was one of the few characters I wasn't able to work into Stiltskin or allude to yet... but then, there are two more books after this one...

abuckley23 said...

Yes, abominable ones :) I'll record the full version in the new year so you'll actually be able to find out what the hobby is.

abuckley23 said...

Thanks Pat! I'd love to take the credit but that magic belongs to the designer :)

abuckley23 said...

I have great plans for Hansel and Gretal in the third book...

Thanks Sherry! :)

I love all of the tales that I remember scaring me under the sheets when I was a kid. Hansel and Gretel had me afraid of ovens for years.

abuckley23 said...

And that's why you're my fave! :)

There are so many to like. The first one that comes to mind is "The Hand with the Knife." It's short, only a paragraph or two, and seems unfinished. It grabbed my imagination and I kept coming back to it until I wrote a new story based on the original incident.

abuckley23 said...

Thank you Ella! :)

Awesome response! Thank you everyone, especially Andrew for keeping up with all the wonderful comments! You all rock!

It is my pleasure to announce the winner of all three books - Andrew's Stiltskin and my two novels -- is Gary Pennick - klahanie! Congratulations Gary! Books are on the way!

Gary!!! My most favorite person! In the entire world! At this particular moment in time! I'm awaiting my shipment of books, once I have them I'll mail you off a copy :)
